Brahmatal: A Himalaya Expedition

Brahmatal
a himalaya expedition
One can hardly explain the joy of climbing 12,000 feet to someone who isn't in consumed by the idea of mountains. But even to seasoned travellers, the trails of Brahmatal are a tale to fall in love with.
We arrived on a late chilly morning in Kathgodam Station, UK.
The trail begins through forests on the slopes of the Garwal range.
Once we broke the treeline, we could grasp at the vast infinity of the Himalayas.
We often got lost in the trails. But it was worth it, every bit of snow we dredged along. At the summit, we were greeted at a cozy mountain hut with rododendron juice, the miracle drink of the mountains.
